ALSI is seeking several Technicians to assist with collecting samples or performing tests.
This position, depending on location, will be either Regular Part-time/On-call, or Regular Full-time.
We are looking for someone with a current driver’s license and reliable vehicle to travel from one client location to another.
Primary purpose of this position is to perform asbestos, lead, chemical and other environmental air monitoring; and to also pick up samples.
The right person must be able to be “on call” and work a varied schedule, have good math skills, able to work in tight or
high spaces, and will possess pleasant interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Some positions require overnight stays in hotels/motels and may be paid for by ALSI.
We will provide training, equipment and safety provisions.
This position is perfect for anyone requiring part-time or temporary/on-call work including retired, students, etc.

2 yrs relevant exp.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related IT/Database Management Design field and 2 yrs exp
Additional Masters in Science related field, preferably chemistry, highly preferred.

| Experience Requirements: |
2 years scientific database management design and analysis experience.

| Physical Requirements: |
Able to sit for 95% of an 8 hour day.
Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer.
Must have average vision and able to see and read reports and operate computers.
